Here I am, sometime in 1969 or '70. I was in the Herricks class of '70 but I took classes over the summer of 1969 and spent the next year pursuing photography and astronomy, and traveling along the east coast and midwest, often hitch-hiking to visit friends who were at various colleges. At the same time I continued to have wonderful friends at home who were juniors and seniors at Herricks. In this blog I will post some of the photographs that I took during that wonderful year. I began a journal at that time as well and will also post and excerpt or two from it. Below are a few of the pictures I took on the road that year.
