Sandy (Sanford) Drob, 1970

Here I am, in '70 or "71. I was in the Herricks class of '70 but I took classes over the summer of 1969 and spent the next year pursuing photography and astronomy, and traveling along the east coast and midwest, often hitch-hiking to visit friends who were at various colleges. At the same time I continued to have friends at home who were juniors and seniors at Herricks. In this blog I will post some of the photographs that I took while at Herricks and during that travel year. I began a journal at that time as well and may also post some excerpts from it.

Michigan) and I had hitchhiked to Madison and I spent about a week  there in February. Lenny was then the night editor of "The Cardinal", the Madison college daily newspaper.

I think that this was take an the Bayard Cutting Arboretum on a snowy day in the winter of 1970. Lesley Stoller and I were parked having a pizza and these guys were marching down to tell us we couldn't park or picnic.

Sandy (Sanford) Drob 1970 and Photos

Here I am, sometime in 1969 or '70. I was in the Herricks class of '70 but I took classes over the summer of 1969 and spent the next year pursuing photography and astronomy, and traveling along the east coast and midwest, often hitch-hiking to visit friends who were at various colleges. At the same time I continued to have wonderful friends at home who were juniors and seniors at Herricks. In this blog I will post some of the photographs that I took during that wonderful year. I began a journal at that time as well and will also post and excerpt or two  from it. Below are a few of the pictures I took on the road that year.
